AKA Myrica palustris.

Upright shrub with narrow blue-green leaves. Inconspicuous flowers are borne in yellow catkins before leaves emerge.

Sweetgale is a member of the wax-myrtle or bayberry family (family Myricaceae), which occurs nearly worldwide.

This nitrogen fixing species prefers a boggy site.

Native to Ontario.

We deliver to your address in Toronto, Eastern Oakville or Mississauga on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. In the yellow area ( West Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton), we will deliver, on Mondays. We have a $75 minimum order - otherwise it doesn't make sense to drive to you. Note the dates in the banner above!
