Flowers rise above the foliage on a stalk an look like little white pairs of pants with yellow waist bands. (OK, maybe squint a bit!) Will go dormant in early summer. Very similar to Dicentra canadensis (Squirrel Corn). All parts of this plant are toxic, please don't eat it.
