Large, dark green, heart-shaped leaves with beautiful mottling and 5cm dark purple flowers at soil level. Vigorously spreads by rhizomes, which makes this plant an ideal groundcover for shade. Also performs well in containers. Hardy to zone 6, but with protection may overwinter in zone 5.
